Microtel Salt Lake City Airport

Overall, We would stay there again for the same price.

Would not recommend to anyone and will never stay there again. Beds hard as rock, lobby a mess, breakfast less than desirable.

Hotel room was fairly Spartan. There seemed to be no nearby dining, and the hotel clerk gave inaccurate directions to what she thought was a nearby restaurant. If there were any nearby restaurants, they did not have any signs visible from nearby roads. This place is a complete dump and not even worthy of an "economy" star rating. I've been at campgrounds with better accommodations.

The hotel was comfortable and is at a great location.

My room was feet from I-80. As soon as I saw where it was I requested another room. The manager told me I would have to pay another $15.00. The motel had very few guests and could have easily accommodated by request; they had about a dozen guests from the look of the parking lot. In addition, the manager told me I'd have to come and get an iron and ironing board if I wanted it as she couldn't bring it up. I called the front desk again after midnight and another manager who had come on duty agreed to move me to another room which was not adjacent to the interstate. Bare clean efficient room near airport. Good place to leave a car for up to 14 days while flying out of SLC.

Microtel was okay. I felt La Quanta's continental breakfast just put an exclamation point to a fine stay. I was a little disappointed in Microtel's continental breakfast, otherwise the stay was okay.
